Its been a while---

So I havent written a blog in a while, there hasn't been too much to write about! But, today was quite an interesting day cuz brother Stewart & I BotH cut our fingers cutting bread with the same knife! funny thing is, i didnt know he had cut him self when i cut myself. He had to go to the emergency room though, mine hurt but it was not as serious. Nurse JiLL bandaged me up reallly nice :) If i ever were hurt I would want jill to take care of me :)

So anyhow, I wanted to post this awesome picture for the Stewart clan. You all have one of the most awesome dads ever created :) but im sure u already know that!

This was at our FHE last Monday, I should have taken a video of him struttin his stuff, it was HilariouS

SO Thursday Night we had a ward activity-Family feud!

it definitely was an interesting night---& it went a little something like this---

The northParkers-

The Adams family-

The Gadiantons (& i totally dont know how to spell that or what it is lol)-

& the HillBillies-

So Back to the beginning, we first had some "dinner"-well that depends if u consider corn dogs & nachos dinner :) Here are a few people who enjoyed it very much----

"mmmmmmmMMM I havent had one of these since I was in highschool" (Bishop-were corndogs even invented yet when u were in high school? jkjk)

Stephen said in reply "what magical ingredients do they use in these things???"

to which Bro. Stewart replied with the story of the "one legged Pig" (or was it 3 legged? i dont recall lol)

& we all know Michael doesn't think when he's eating-:oP

Nathan decided he was more into the nacho cheese :)

I, personally, prefer it on the chip, but like someone once said-"to each his own" :)

So Nathan, being as adventurous as he is, decided to try the chips with the cheese :) Megan did too :) they agreed with my after all :)

Meanwhile...The Adams family was busy showing their team unity by using a bit of DuckTape & some creativity :)

Kevin made a few additional preparations, but we'll let him explain that one later :oP

The gadiantons made their preparations by getting creative with some ducKTape as well :)

Brian let out his Inner Hitler while Pablo went for an Abe Lincoln look

The Hillbillies came ready prepared-Cheaterss

& the northparkers, well, i think they were too busy being cool to be creative (either that, or they were too busy stuffing their faces :)

There were a few pretty intense face offs---can u guess who hit the bell first???

So i thought this one was funny. question: what time does the Northpark ward ActuallY start??? # 1 answer was 1:00 pm-28 people said it in fact, so why is there only about 10 people there by 1:00 every Sunday? lol

So there were quite a few fun face offs but one that took the cake was drew vs. Josh, as U can see, Drew fits in quite nicely with the big kids, hes one that is not easily pushed around :)

As U can see here-Drew was victorious in the bell ringing & apparently said something hilarious (per kraig's face) &Josh's inability to stay standing up. funny thing is, i cant remember what he said! someone help me remember here!!

So it continued on for a bit & in the end---

The Adams Family was victorious---(as u can see here, Katie is a few inches off the ground)

It was time for fast Money round---katie & Kraig were the chosen ones

ROTFL! it was soo classic & priceless & I will never forget it, im sure not many people will. Katie-U R AwesomE (& hilarious :)

All in all it was a delightful night & a great bonding activity for our 'Family'

1. I dislike waking up any earlier then 9AM-I pretty much need 8-10 hours of sleep a night in order to be a pleasant person for most of the day :)


2. I have a realllly bad habit of biting my nails. I have tried to break it oh about a bazillion times but i always end up with no fingernails in the end :o(


3. In my house growing up with my mom & 3 sisters I was somehow designated to do the jobs a guy would normally do in the house. bug killing, lizard catching (for some reason they always ended up in the house), putting stuff together & i always did it. The funny thing is that I am scared of bugs just like every other girl, I just couldn't show it-who else would get rid of them then! I also am not a fan of building things. So I guess I just had to "man-up" my whole life and face my fears for the sake of my household & do things I didn't always like to do :) I have also always been seen as the "guy" of the family or the one who was "supposed to" be the boy. weird, i know.




4. I used to want to be a dentist. I have always had really big ambitions for myself & wanted to have such a great career to provide for my future family. However, this past year I have decided to go for Dental hygiene instead-still good career-but since I have done some re-prioritizing of some things I have decided that this career would better suit my future lifestyle & family & i will not only have a great career, but I will also be able to take care of my family the way a mother should.


5. My room is painted half black and half white. Its actually realllly Awesome. One of my walls is all black, & opposite the other all white and the 2 between are diagonally cut half black & half white. It took me over a week to get it done but every time I sit here & look around it makes me smile :)



6. adding on to the previous mentioned I love pandas :) my black & white room theme is accented with random pandas. Very few people have actually seen my room, mostly because it is never clean, but that's a different story :) Next time I clean it i should take a picture or something :)



7. I have many intangible talents, but few tangible ones. I have always wished I could draw or paint. I Love art. I also Love photography & my dream has always been to become a scenic photographer. ( I love nature!) However, I have realized that that would best serve me as a hobby rather then a career & I am just fine with that :) I also wish I could be a dancer-how cool would that be? or play some type of instrument-I have since vowed to introduce my children to as many artistic activities as I can and encourage them to pursue whichever they have a passion for. One thing I never really did as a child but I wish I had.



8. I have been blessed with a wonderful family that makes me laugh, supports me, encourages me to become a better person everyday & challenges me to make the future better. I would do anything for any of these wonderful people :)

Family Home Evening :)

So I dont have much time to write a big blog but Monday night was FHE & it was super fun stuff :) Here r a few pictures from the eventful night---

So all in all it was an awesome night, not technically at home & not Technically family, But Exaclty Family & Exactly home :)

Who says You need fireworks On the 4th of July??

SO 4th of July started with me sleepin in :) always a good day when I can sleep until I cant sleep anymore. So I met the Elders & a few other cool kids at the Bowling alley :)

Unfortunately there was a league going at the time so we had to wait an hour for a lane! but it went by pretty fast cuz some of those Elders r pretty hilarious. So we bowled, it was pretty sweet, had some curly fries, got a Turkey :) & had some fun. Then I went home & hung out with my family for a bit. When I was over it, i went to James & Tyler's house where we met up with some others & headed up to running Springs to Michael's house.On the way up Tyler told us this funny story about something that happened at work & he needed chapstick. But all we had was lipgloss, so he had to make to most of it :)

Once we got up the mountain It took a while to get all the food ready & prepared, but when it was ready, boy was it good! So good, in fact that I let out a nice burp & This was the look Tyler gave me right when i let it out. haha. He was

Outraged! & it was pretty funny-well at least Michael thought so :)

Hey if its gotta come out, its gotta come out ;)

Here is Meg & Amy chowin down some Bratwurst (& i don't know if i spelled that right, but whatever)

& James Lovin the Brat as well & My Mac & Cheese :)

He also quite enjoyed out Fat free No Sugar Banana & Butterscotch pudding, it was rather

tasty-so tasty in fact, we had to get the remains of the bowl :)

Michael thought that was funny too :)

We then played Squabble-Battle of the Sexes Scene IT, which was pretty fun, girls won the first time, guys won the second-but in my opinion, they got lucky the second time ;) Squabble was followed by our Lovely dessert made by Amy-Some Brownie Marshmallows thing that was pretty crazy looking, i wish I would have gotten a before picture, but here is the after picture-it must have been good :)

as U can see here, James thought so :)

As well as Megan & the Cook :) actually-Megan was so happy she gave it a kiss! and Tyler was rejoicing in the large glass of milk he washed down the chocolaty goodness with :)

which was followed by his happy dance to the lyrics "put your hands up on my hip-when i dip u dip we dip" haha yeah, we had no idea what was going on either, but it was Hilarious :) Michael thought it was funny too as U can see on the left :) But in all the dancing and excitement a Bug made camp in Tyler's delicious mug of milk!

We continued enjoying our dessert-Here is Michael with our Perspective shot :)

we were nearing the bottom of the pan so Megan & Michael decided to paper Rock Scissors Battle for the last bite----

Michael won & he tried to stuff it in his mouth before I could take the picture-But-being the Brilliant Photographer that I am-I got it anyway :)

James then suggested we all do some sit ups to compensate for the dessert we just ate---

Tyler said "maybe i should work on this gut"-
meg & Amy shot down that silly suggestion with more laughter :)

our night was coming to a lovely end-and being the watchful eye that I am-I noticed that I did not have a picture of me! which usually happens when You're the memory capture-Er :)

So i managed to snap one more moment in time that gave the night a lovely end :)

I have some of the greatest friends Ever brought to this earth :) & I wouldn't trade them for all the clouds in the sky :)
